I love photographing couples. When they are about to get married, the excitement is through the roof! It’s a service I particularly enjoy because it allows me to be free and experiment a lot with light, achieving more extreme angles that are difficult to execute on the wedding day.
The atmosphere is relaxed and fun, in a strictly reportage style; I also take individual portraits, and as always, the mood is super intimate.
It’s also very useful for the couple to break the ice with the camera and understand the dynamics of couple photos.
The sessions last about two hours, so we can be super efficient on the wedding day when we’ll have very little time.
In recent years, it has become very popular because couples need some professional photos to announce their engagement, which they often use on their wedding website with all the useful information.
From an aesthetic point of view, I think it’s fantastic to give guests a preview of what the wedding photos will be like.
